Schmidt Solar, based in Trierweiler, is looking for a photovoltaic installer (m/f/d) in full-time or part-time for the installation and maintenance of solar systems on the roofs of private and commercial buildings. The role covers mounting on various roof types, installing electrical wiring (DC) and connections, as well as maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of existing systems including customer documentation. Requirements are a completed skilled trade apprenticeship, for example as a roofer or electrician, a class B driving licence, and technical understanding and craftsmanship; experience in PV installation is an advantage. The owner-managed company offers a permanent employment contract, performance-based pay and short decision-making paths in the field of renewable energies.
