The geotechnical laboratory Grundbaulabor Trier is looking for a civil engineering technician for geotechnical construction supervision as well as direct and indirect compaction testing. Duties include drilling and probing work, groundwater monitoring wells, inclinometer measurements and soil-mechanical laboratory tests. Further tasks comprise maintenance of equipment, test reports, geotechnical statements and technical advice on construction sites in Germany and Luxembourg. Structured working methods, very good German skills and basic French skills as well as a class B driving licence are expected. The position is preferably full-time, possible from 32 hours per week, with flexitime and company fringe benefits.
